Poor service. Staff unknowledgeable. I would give negative stars if that was an option. I went to this AT&T retailer earlier this morning (just shortly after 10AM) to load more time on my daughter's gophone and to switch my phone's service from Cellcom to AT&T, keep my phone and number. There was only one person working and I had to wait over 30 minutes for assistance. To be fair, the young lady there was initially attempting to another customer and she did acknowledge me and asked what I needed. I told her and she said she would be with me as soon as she could. Everything to this point was fine. 30 minutes later, while the initial customer was still on the phone with customer service, the young lady just sat there...letting me wait longer. When that customer left (their issue wasn't resolved) another customer walked in and was helped before me. I'm getting frustrated by this point. Now it is almost 11am and I'm late getting back to work. Still only one store employee. When I finally get assistance, I had to tell this young lady three times what I wanted to which she gives me a blank stare and says "I'm confused, I need to take some notes". Now I'm frustrated to the point I'm ready to walk out. So I take a deep breath and tell her that I will speak more slowly. (English wasn't the issue) She responds that she refuses to help anyone that talks to her that way. I let her know that's fine with me and started to leave when she backed off a little. By the end of our conversation, she said in order to transfer service I needed to provide a laundry list of information to include my social security number and that my phone did not have a sim card so I would need to buy a new phone, Nothing else she could do and I would have to come back. I immediately went to the AT&T store in Rib Mountain. Within 15 minutes of walking into the Rib Mountain store, I had my service transferred, a new sim card in my phone, Any information I needed that I didn't have with me (cellcom acct no.) they helped me get. No SSN was needed. I will not go back to the AT&T Retailer in Weston again.
